Red Sox Excuses
Phil Rizzuto is one of the greatest shortstops to eve play the game, Babe Ruth is the greatest ball player of all time and Joe DiMaggio is the Yankee clipper as well as the better DiMaggio brother to play baseball. Now the Red Sox have a problem with the Yankees after the Babe Ruth trade to produce a play that was unsuccessful. This was the start to their misery and up until 2004 when they won their 6th world series title which took them nearly 86 years to achieve. That's a long time to win a title. Now their was the curse of the bambino and after they achieved what no one thought they would ever win again the curse was no more. Now after Phil Rizzuto passed away Red Sox fans have the audasity to say that if they had him on their team that they would've had nearly as many rings as the Yankees which is a bunch of B*** S*** to me. It's not whether who you could've gotten or traded away it's how you play the game. Red Sox fans are just jealous that for so long the yankees had better pitchers, fielders and hitters. Joe DiMaggio had 56 staright hits and his brother could've done the same as could any other ball player at the time. All you need is to have good eye coordination on the ball and you will hit it. You can never tell if a ball player is going to be good right away they have to blossom into a star. But if the Red Sox were smart then they would've picked up Ruth when the yankees didn't want him anymore and maybe they could've won a couple of more rings. It was bad decision making and that is why the yankees were better then the Red Sox because they were making the right decisions while the Red Sox were making wrong ones. Its as simple as that.

To be fair, they also have lots more money.
But I'm not disagreeing.
They've got to be happy about Buchholz, though--I blogged about that myself.
The Yankees are the best team in professional sports. They haven't always had more money then everyone else, they had to win to get that kind of money. Now they might be the richest franchise, but it took work to get there, and about 2 and a half decades of losing.
Now as a Red Sox fan my first impression of reading this blog was wow, and a lot of things I wont post, but I have collected it back and am now reasonable. The Red Sox have made poor decisions this is true, however you said it yourself you don’t know the outcome of the player you sign until they start playing, so in some respects it may not have been poor decision making on its own, there also has to be a bit of luck of the draw on your side, that your player is going to step up and perform. I mean look at A-Rod, he was amazing then his first year on the Yankees he wasn’t much help as much as a burden. This made some people think the Yankees made a bad decision, but then he started playing up again, and again the mind set changed back to a good decision.
As for this whole Yankees won more titles blah blah blah, Yankee fans need to stop living in the past and check the present. Currently the Red Sox are holding first place and have been most the season. Lastly there is no reason the Yankees shouldn’t be STILL winning World Series, they have some of the best players in baseball, but yet they keep losing… when someone can explain that I’ll care that they won so many more rings then the Red Sox. Utilize what you got.
