Saints and Chargers failures?

The Saints and Chargers are the 2 teams who should be close to 3-0. The Saints are 0-3 and the chargers are 1-2. Both teams are having a horrible start to the season and both were predicted to be in the superbowl. Reggie Bush is off his game and Drew Brees can barely throw a td. Deuce McAllister is out for the season with a torn acl and it looks the Saints are gonna be a complete flop and show that least year was a fluke. The Chargers on the other hand fired Marty S. because he couldnt win in the playoffs. BIG MISTAKE... Norv Turner was never a good coach and he's going to be the reason why the Chargers may miss out on the playoffs and become a bad team in the NFL. Right now predictions have been made that the Saints may be top 5 on the draft line and the Chargers top 10. I dont know how both teams are losing because they have such a good team. It looks like the coaching staff needs to make some improvements or someone is going to be fired by the end of this season.

Yankees Inching Closer?

The New York Yankees are only 3.5 games out of first place in the AL East and with about 12 games left in the regular season they are one of the hottest teams in baseball today. The only drawback the Yankees have is pitching. That is a key component to making the playoffs and winning a world series as well as having a solid defence and batting lineup. The Yankees have old but playoff suitable pitchers but as the cold comes in how will it affect the old players? The Bo Sox are not losing the lead nor are they in trouble of being pushed out of the playoffs altogether, but the thing they have to worry about is who they will possibly face come october. No one is guaranteed a spot yet and their is more ball to play but this year might actually be the best playoff race since 1996. Be sure to see some upsets as well as a brand new champion.

Football: Fun to Watch Deadly to Play

Sunday was the first sunday for football and what a day it was; wins and loses, new records in the history books, hard hits and unfortunatley injuries. Now when watching football people want to see those hard hits and go OHHHHHHHHH as loud as they can and just watch the replay over and over again. But yesterday during the Bills v Broncos game instead of going OH everyone went OUCH. TE Kevin Everett of the Buffalo Bills was going in for a tackle on special teams and what wound up happening was he collided helmet to helmet with PR Domenik Hixon and dropped to the ground right away. Everett was on the ground for about 15 minutes receiving medical attention and was carted off on a stretcher and into an ambulance. Everett suffered a life threatening spinal cord injury and was rushed to the hospital right away for surgery. I love football but I don't want to see anyone carted off in an ambulance and later read that his playing days are over. No one wants to see this happen to anyone. They entertain and put their bodies on the line for everyone to enjoy the greatest sports event of this era. But this is football s*** happens and unfortunatley everyone has to watch something that they dont want to see.
